Rogue Pack FAQ

1-to-1 Coaching FAQ

What is Rogue Pack?
Rogue Pack is a membership for runners and triathletes who want structure, guidance and community without the full cost of 1-to-1 coaching.

Who is Rogue Pack for?
It is for self-managed athletes who want better direction, smarter training and a serious endurance community around them, whether they are training for a 5K, marathon, sprint triathlon or Ironman.

What do I get with Rogue Pack?
Members get access to either a goal-specific TrainingPeaks plan from the Rogue Library or structured weekly sessions, plus access to the Rogue Library, Entry to the Rogue pot,  the members-only WhatsApp group, and a 60-minute review every 12 weeks if training is being logged consistently on TrainingPeaks.

Can I choose between a full plan and weekly sessions?
Yes. Rogue Pack has two pathways. You can either follow a generic event-specific plan or use one to two structured weekly sessions to anchor your own training.

Can I switch between the two options?
Yes. You might use a full plan when building towards a race, then move to weekly sessions when you are between events or want more flexibility.

Do I need TrainingPeaks?
It is strongly encouraged, and it is free. TrainingPeaks makes it easier to follow plans, track consistency and qualify for the 12-week review.

Do Rogue Pack members get direct coach access?

No. Rogue Pack members do not receive the same level of personal support as 1-to-1 coaching athletes. The membership is built around structure, community and scheduled review points, not ongoing direct coaching support.

How much personal support do I get in Rogue Pack?
You get guidance through the membership structure, support from the group environment and a scheduled review every 12 weeks if you are logging consistently, but not ongoing one-to-one amendments, query handling or weekly plan rewrites.

Is Rogue Pack full coaching?
No. It is a structured membership, not a fully bespoke coaching service.

What distances does Rogue Pack cover?
Rogue Pack supports runners from 5K to ultra and triathletes from sprint distance through to full distance.

What is the Rogue Library?
The Rogue Library is a growing bank of training resources, scientific papers and event-specific plans designed to help members train with more understanding and less guesswork.

What is the Rogue Pot?
Each month, £4 from every active member goes into the Rogue Pot, and one RP number is drawn to win it. As the pack grows, the pot grows.

Who gets access to the WhatsApp group?
Only paid-up members get access. It is a members-only space for support, shared experience, accountability and standards.

Can I upgrade from Rogue Pack to 1-to-1 coaching?
Yes. Rogue Pack is a strong entry point for athletes who may later want more personalised planning, more accountability and more direct coach support.

What is included in 1-to-1 coaching?
Everything in the Rogue Pack membership, but with the addition of 1-to-1 coaching, includes a fully personalised training programme built around your goals, schedule, experience, strengths, weaknesses and training response, with ongoing feedback, adjustments and direct coach support.

Who is 1-to-1 coaching for?
It is for athletes who want a fully bespoke approach, closer accountability, direct communication and a coaching service that adapts as life and training change.

How is 1-to-1 coaching different from Rogue Pack?
Rogue Pack gives you structure and direction through a plan or weekly sessions inside a membership model. 1-to-1 coaching gives you full personalisation, regular adjustment and direct coach support throughout.

Do 1-to-1 athletes get direct coach access?
Yes. 1-to-1 coaching: Athletes receive direct coach access for training amendments and queries, with responses within 12 to 24 hours.

Can my training be adjusted week to week?
Yes. That is one of the key differences between 1-to-1 coaching and Rogue Pack. Your training can be adjusted around fatigue, life, racing, travel, illness, work and feedback.

Is 1-to-1 coaching only for advanced athletes?
No. It is for any athlete who wants a more personalised and responsive coaching setup, whether they are building toward a first event or chasing a major performance goal.

Do I need TrainingPeaks for 1-to-1 coaching?
Yes, or at the very least it is highly recommended, as it allows proper delivery, monitoring, feedback and adjustments.

Can I move from Rogue Pack into 1-to-1 coaching?
Yes. Many athletes may start in Rogue Pack and move into 1-to-1 coaching when they want a higher level of support and personalisation.

What kind of athletes is 1-to-1 coaching best suited to?
Athletes with ambitious goals, more complex schedules, injury histories, performance targets, or those who simply want their training fully built around them will usually benefit most from 1-to-1 coaching.

How quickly will I get a reply to questions or issues?
1-to-1 coaching athletes receive responses to queries and amendment requests usually within 12 hrs.

Do I still get access to the wider Overdrive environment?
Yes. 1-to-1 athletes are still part of the wider coaching environment, but their support is more personalised and direct.
